Decision Modeling book – free chapter

Share

As you may know, Tom Debevoise and I recently published The MicroGuide to Process and Decision Modeling in BPMN/DMN: Building More Effective Processes by Integrating Process Modeling with Decision Modeling. The Business Process Model and Notation, BPMN 2.0, has established itself as the dominant standard for process modeling since its release in 2011. The publication of the Decision Model and Notation, DMN, adds a new perspective allowing decisions to be modeled alongside processes in an open, vendor-neutral way. This is the focus of the new edition of the MicroGuide and it is now available in both paperback and Kindle formats.

It already has some great reviews on Amazon:

  • “Perfect combination and articulation of both notations”
  • “Concise and Example-Rich Guide to Integrating Process and Decision Models – to the Benefit of Both”
  • “Five Stars”

We recently made a free chapter available. This includes the table of contents and some basic information as well as Chapter 3 – Building on the Basics. If you are interested in decision modeling but still not quite ready to buy the book, why not download the free chapter? That way you can get to see what we’re talking about first.

Of course you could just go buy the book immediately …
