Live Event: Decision Modeling, DMN and IBM ODM

Share

I am speaking at the ODM/iLOG BRMS Meetup on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 6pm Pacific in the IBM Offices at 1001 Hillsdale Blvd, Foster City (map) on Decision Modeling, DMN and IBM ODM. Decision Modeling with the Decision Model and Notation (DMN) standard is a powerful way to maximize the ROI to be gained from business rules management systems like IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM). The combination of decision modeling with DMN and a BRMS improves traceability and business user engagement without compromising your BRMS’ business rules capability.

This session will introduce DMN for those unfamiliar with the new notation, briefly discuss the challenges of applying traditional rule-centric approaches with ODM and then show how an integrated DMN/ODM solution allows business users and business analysts immediate access to the business rules they need to edit from a familiar decision model while ensuring that users take full advantage of the rich editing, versioning, simulation, reporting and validation capabilities of ODM.

If you are local, come by hear me speak, see me demo and ask your questions.
