Presentation at BBC: Lessons Learned from the Real-Life Deployment of Decision Management at Scale

Share

I am giving a session at this year’s Building Business Capability conference on “Lessons Learned from the Real-Life Deployment of Decision Management at Scale“at 8:00am on the Friday of the show.

With initial success adopting decision management technologies, large, global, organizations have begun rolling out decision management and decision modeling using the new Decision Model and Notation (DMN). As the overall decision management approach and decision discovery and modeling with DMN have been rolled out, lessons have been learned and valuable experience gained.
In this session the value of decision management and decision modeling to the effective management of large, complex operations will be discussed. In particular:

  • The importance of a balance between process and decision in terms of both models and management.
  • The use of decision modeling tools and techniques in developing effective requirements for business rules technology
  • The importance of governance in managing models as projects overlap and intersect
  • The value of an agile approach to decision discovery, modeling and implementation

You can register for the conference here (use SPKLV15 for a 15% discount on Conference Passports) and don’t forget my tutorial on decision modeling.
