PMML is one of the standards I follow and I was glad to see recently that six new members have added their support. PMML is an XML standard managed by the Data Mining Group for describing models and, as such allows models built in one tool to be deployed in another reasonably seamlessly. Lots of analytic modeling tools can generate PMML for models and FICO Blaze Advisor, Pegasystems and Zementis ADAPA can all take PMML and deploy it. More support is welcome and I look forward to continued development in this area. Hopefully more rules platforms will support it soon and it will continue to develop. With so few established decisioning standards I am glad to see this one continuing to evolve and develop.
More support for PMML
