I think your post is informative. By definition a rule is a condition and corresponding actions when the condition to true. This definition holds in many scenarios. What i see in your post is the seperation of &quot;business&quot; rules as against a set of if... then (... else).

Proper use of business rules is a must to reap the benifit.</description>
