Using Decision Management to improve healthcare communication

in Decision Management

I have just finished presenting on the last of a series of roadshows for Silverlink. I was one of a series of presenters for their Think Different seminars. I presented with Kinney Zalesne (author of Microtrends: The Small Forces Behind Tomorrow’s Big Changes), Liz Boehm (Healthcare analyst at Forrester) and Fred Jubitz (recently of American Express) as well as some folks from Silverlink.

Silverlink’s application is a great example of applying decision management to deliver highly personalized, very effective communications. Using analytics, rules, adaptive control and leveraging existing data sources, the Silverlink application acts as a virtual “nurse”, making outbound calls and other communications to patients. You can check their website for more information and I will write some more about it soon.

George van Antwerp blogged a couple of the sessions – check out Our First Think Different  Event and More On Silverlink’s Think Different  Event.
